A member’s initial session starts with a consultation, where you are asked questions related to your condition(s)/ injury. This will help me to understand better the nature of your problem, to choose the best approach, and estimate how long and how many sessions may be needed. Relief is typically experienced with the first session and within minutes.
Your first session will take longer than a follow up session because of the intake process. Non-complicated cases might take less time.
Generally a typical miHealth session will be 20 – 30 minutes.

To establish your personal response to therapy, I normally schedule a follow up call to evaluate how you responded and to define a further strategy or course of action.
A miHealth session is often in the sitting up position on a treatment table, where the miHealth device is applied directly to the skin in the area affected. Stimulation is always comfortable and makes a tingling sensation. You will be choosing the level of desired intensity. The stimulation is not painful.
In preparation for your session, please have answers ready:
First, the area of injury/condition is scanned to pinpoint the active sites related to your injury. Then I will target this focused area with the miHealth stimulation. To complete the session, I run the device over the adjacent muscles to provide muscular relaxation and soft tissue release in the whole area.
When the session is complete, you will be asked to assess your pain again by score (from 0 – 10), by how it feels and by location. Typically, you feel a change in your state and reduction in pain. Some cases will not be as immediate because neuromodulation requires the response from the central nervous system which takes time. It is not unusual to have a slight aggravation in symptoms in the evening following the treatment as body engages in active healing. Please evaluate the change in your pain the following morning. Typically, you will feel less pain and some degree of stiffness, which easily disappears when you do light stretching.
